Hi all :)

Could I ask the advice of the fab Forum.....if we're in the UK trying to find jobs before coming over, are the job sites the best place to look and/or do agencies have websites to check out too or do they all just post on the job sites? When actually in NZ, is it best to carry on using the job sites, actually go to visit agencies or even drop in to companies and leave them your CV?

i found seek the best.
I tried lots of agencies and only got one interview and the guy wasnt really looking for anybody it was a waste of time. I got 8 interviews from applying on seek by myself from the uk and then flew out for 2 weeks to attend them all.i was offered a job on my 2nd day but turned it down when i saw how easy it was to find work once they knew you were serious about the move. I brought my family out on march the 9th and just before setting off arranged more interviews through seek,i started work ist week in april . i could have started earlier but needed time to find a rental house. good luck.
