I have a UK prescription from my doctor that in failed to get from the chemist before I left in November. Is there anywhere that I could get an NZ pharmacist (in in Welly) to give me the drugs or will I have to fork out for the doc over here? Thanks!

Jo, I don't know for a fact, but I would be really surprised if you can get it made up here. I'm pretty sure you'll need to see your gp. Alternatively, you could take the script into your dr's surgery and ask if they can write you out an NZ one, but I'd be surprised if they don't make you see the GP first. Must be annoying!!

No you'll need to get a NZ prescription before we can dispense it - assuming it's for a prescription only medicine of course - if you let me know what it is (either here, or PM if you prefer) then I can tell you
