Well, we made it! :clap After a brief break in Sydney, which was nice, we are visiting my Parents (I'm a returning kiwi) in Central Otago, my hubby and I are testing all the local wines, yumm, we are now sitting at my Dads house in a tent, testing it out , as we are about to head North for a 3 week camping holiday before Richard starts work. In a brief summary of what has happened so far..... We arrived 1st Dec, bought a car in Dunedin, after a bit, flew from Queenstown to Wellington, bought a house, now, that was very hard!!! Thats a new thread all on its own!!, we are now planning our camping trip to Kaitaia, (the top of NZ-ish), with a 2.5year old, ha ha ha, in a tent.... :uhoh Its mad! We've had our first Skype call with our friends in the UK, which was a little sad. Overall, its very surreal, I'm a Kiwi coming back, but I've been way for so long, it feels really strange being back.... I can't get over all the 'Hoons' what is that about? they are everywhere. By the way, 'Noodles' the cat is fine, she got delivered as expected to Dunedin Airport on time, and doesn't seem to be any different than normal.... Anyway, Happy New Year to all, heres to a New Year in Kiwiland. :cheers

Lake Isle, welcome home :D (from an Englishman)

A happy new year to all three of you too… the only complaint I’ve heard from a returning kiwi is one about waistline and an urge to eat proper pies :uhoh

Enjoy the camping and the wonderful summer!

Bob
