This morning I got the best news - My temporary work visa is on it's way back to me!!! Look out Cambridge - here I come. After worrying since August that I was too old to get into the country, I lodged my papers on Wednesday, and was told this morning that I had been given the green light.
The only thing I'm waiting for now is the Postman and the van driver to pick up my boxes.

Thank you guys - I've just managed to let my daughter know - on hols for Christmas in Northland - and we've had a telephone celebration. Can't wait for the real thing - only ten days to go. :raebanana Just a heck of a lot of 'stuff' to dispose of though. Does anyone out there know anyone in UK who needs asingle person's house contents?? :laugh
