A friend of mine is thinking about moving to NZ. He contracted Hep C about 30 years ago...he works for the medical profession. How will this affect his medical assessment?

Don't know about Hep C but for Hep B they'll look at liver function panels to see if all is within the normal range. NZIS panel docs may ask for a letter from your friend's doctor assessing his prognosis given his history with the virus and current health status.
