Cheeky company didn't leave any details of their email address on letters and internet for anyone wish to contact them!!! unless you contact them via their website which is useless as in past i send few, no reply back!
So do anyone know the John Mason International Movers company's???
Because they didn't give us copy insurance proposal form and signed acceptance of estimate form that we need it for our insurance claims as we received 5 damaged items, fridge, freezer, one of settee, progarator and lampshade (posh one as wedding present, got squashed) grrrr.

Hi there
We can't find an email address either on our paperwork, but a rep is due to visit us tomorrow evening to give us a quote for our move, so we'll try and get an email address for you then.
Out of interest, would you now recommend John Mason after your problems, or were you expecting a few hitches? We've also had a quote from Crown Relocations and will probably go with one or the other.
Any info gratefully received, and will see what we can do tomorrow!
Cheerio for now,
Ali

Hello..sorry, am afraid that I can't help. I've got all my John Mason paperwork out to sort through and there's no e-mail address anywhere on any of it.
Sorry to hear about your damaged goods and hope you can get it sorted out. The only thing I can think of, is you might have to phone them - they normally answer the phone very promptly - but agree its a pain.

I would recommend John Mason as they were brilliant. We had them packed everything for us which it is godsend cos i got 8months old girl and 3 years old boy on tow. One of packers didn't mind have a shadow following him!!(my boy). I was expected to have some mild damages some items, more like glass or pictures, but none of them did. You can't really expect everything will be well secured inside container with ship moving up and down, rock side to side against the waves..(sorry if i cause any seasickness there!! :D )
I was surprised to hear some people didn't bothering insurance shipping as one of packer mentioned to me before he shut the container door (joking) say goodbye to your stuffs just in case fall off the ship!!! I asked him, are you joking?, yes but it does happen in rare cases, gup!
Anyway, rep rang us soon after visit us that he got space on the days we want to pack! which is helpful to fit in with my boy at preschool half day during two day packing and told us when our container will go on the boat, name of boat, and date of expect to arrive in NZ, which did arrived on time. John Mason's NZ partner, The Moving Company is good but bit poor in communication on keeping us inform with customs problem we had over medications in container. Customs held our container for nearly 2 weeks before released to us. They willing to unpack some items I ask them to, even we didn't paid them to. (just want my daughter's cot build so i can put her down for nap, they end up unpack and build all our beds!! fab :nice1 )
Tip from me to everyone, if you like us end up with too much stuff for 20ft container and given quotes for one container and left over into share's. Instead of threw away more stuff, collapse many items you can, bookcase, beds, wardrobe, computer table, children's table and chair etc, we end up with more space in one container to put washing dryer in it if i knew that!!
On getting paperwork for claims, The moving Company have just reply back that form i requested is in the post..very quick :nice1
