Can anyone recommend few good bank for children's account in NZ?

I have looked at Raboplus's and Westpac so far, feedback on both banks would be grateful.

Sorry that this won't help you nippa&pippa but as it will be relevant to someone I thought I'd post.

I have just opened ASB accounts for my girls (7 and 11) and they now get their 'wages' (for doing jobs around the house) paid directly into their accounts which they can access using their cashpoint/eftpos cards. For anyone who doesnt know - eftpos is like switch - a debit card. They are soooo proud! My 7 year old had to practise her signature! Naturally the cards will be in my possession for safe-keeping and brought out as and when needed. As an introduction to saving/budgeting/banking systems - I think it rocks!

We got an ASB Headstart for our bub, and a Raboplus as well, cos its higher interest.

We can walk into ASB and pay money in, then internet transfer to Raboplus, until he needs it, he is not old enough for eftpos yet, so may as well make his money work for him.

I have heard good things about Westpac too.
