Thank you for your warm welcome. A bit more about us.
I am married of 10 years and have three rugby mad boys aged 9, 7 and 3. We live in Saffron Walden in Essex and hubby works in the big smoke as a Consulting Marine Engineer and Ship Surveyor.
A job has come up in Lyttelton for a Government Ship Inspector which Dave is more than qualified for. It would be working for MAritime New Zealand which I suppose is the equivalent of our Maritime and Coastguard Agency. He was tipped off by an old colleague who now works for MNZ. CV was emailed last night so the decision has been made to go, we just need the job application to be sucessful!
So all we can do is sit and wait!
I will keep you all posted.

lytellton is a lovely place, though you wouldnt necessarily have to live there as chch is through the tunnel! its very scenic though.
