Busy week ahead now, so I've decided to post in case I don't get another chance before I leave on 18th Jan!
We have the shippers in on Thursday to wrap furniture, and then it get loaded up on Friday. We then enjoy the camping experience until we fly out next week.
Due to exchange contracts on Friday - and complete while we are in the plane! I start work in my new job (had a telephone interview last month) at the end of January.
Children are getting more and more excited, sleep is becoming harder to do, goodbyes are building up day by day and we're close to weighing our luggage bags now.
Can't believe we are nearly at this point. Any of you who read my posts back in May will realise how special this moment is to me now - at one point we weren't coming back as hubby felt it wasn't for him to begin with. Not a day goes by when I don't sit and marvel at how fortunate I am to have the choice and opportunity to take that one way flight. It feels so right, and everything feels like it's just fallen into place.
Off to bed now (another late night) - until the next time.....
Just wanted to say thank you to everyone on this wonderful forum who shares their knowledge, experience, ideas and time so willingly to help others take that emigration step. For those about to take that step, or working towards it, I wish you all the very best. I remember a time when I was the one on the forum always asking questions - it's nice to be able to answer some of them now and I plan to stick around and pass on the help that I once received.
happy new year to you all, I hope all your dreams come true!

Hi all,
Well, we are finally going to New Zealand. Wellington to be precise.
It seems like its taken ages but we arrive on Monday, at last !!!!!!!
To those who know me, thanks for all the encouragement over the past year or so. And I look forward to putting some faces to names when I get to Wellington.
I shall sort out a blog when i get sorted.
Anyway, back to the packing, it never ends.
Thanks again and all the best to everyone wherever you are in the world.

Hey Tony, about time you got that jacksy of yours into gear. Enjoy the last day or two, and remember whilst you are here and not there you ain't having rammed down your throat what a bad season the hammers are having. Being 12000 miles away from the premiership, carling cup,and fa cup at this moment in time is a good feeling:yes :p
Give me a shout when your more settled this side my good old hammers mate.
