Hello everyone,

Mrs TW and I have recently been looking to see whether NZ is for us, and of course the more you look the more questions you have, so we finally plucked up the courage to register.

As well as the two of us we have a son aged 7, and two daughters aged 9 and 12, so we will obviously have questions for them too.

At this stage we are leaning towards Christchurch, so hopefully jobs and schools will be suitable.

Welcome to the forum, TW. This site is a great resource with great people. If a quick search of past forums does not lead to an answer, then do not hesitate to ask.

Cheers,

Mark.

Welcome to the forum guys! It is really helpful. Search, if you don't find, ask, sure you'll find the answers somewhere on here. And if they don't know, they usually go and find out for you anyway :)

I have 2 kids aged 8 (well nearly nine) and 11, they have no issues really, only family.

Good luck on your venture.

Steve

Hi there Mr TW & family and http://bestsmileys.com/signs15/22.gif

You don't say if you've been to NZ before, and that is a pretty big deciding factor to see if it fits. Also, it depends what you want out of your experience, as if you want large shopping centres, lots of good tv and watching life pass you by then perhaps NZ isn't the place to be.

Also, I am not sure if your interest has been prompted by the recent media coverage, but for your information the recent article by the BBC is mentioned on the forum here (http://www.emigratenz.org/forum/showthread.php?t=9358). Using the search funtion should reveal some more threads.

We are a pretty friendly bunch here and we'll try and answer as many of your questions as we can, so good luck with everything.
