I would like to introduce myself as an Asian. I am presently here in Auckland on a tourist visit. Could someone please let me know the possibilities of finding an employment and converting my visitors visa to a work permit. Are there any agencies which can help.

think that the only way to get that answer to that is to go down to the NZ immigration office and have a chat with them there.

I f you get a job offer ( and my understanding is ONLY if you get as job offer) it can be done.

As Nanny X said, you normally need a job offer.
If you have many years experience and post graduate qualifications, you may also qualify without a job offer.
If you are under 30 years old you may qualify for a working holiday visa (depending on which country you are from).
