Question for you helpful people.......

Following a rather gruleing 26hr flight with 2 rather 'busy' kids, we would prefer not to have to go through the hassle of picking up a hire car from the airport. So questions are:

1) Do you reccomend any good airport transfer companies that we could prebook with (we will need to get to Helensville)?

2) Do you know if there are any hire car companies that will deliver hire cars to a location (such as Helenville)

Hi Tim,
I'm assuming you're flying into Auckland? (If I've got the right Helensville!) We used Eastern Shuttle for 6 of us, 14 suitcases and 6 pieces of hand luggage from AKL to Howick (about 35 mins drive, $100). You wont go far wrong with these that Gil has put forward - they are tried and tested by more than a few ex pats. Getting the shuttle is a great Idea, we likewise had over 30 hours door to door travel with three busy kids and getting in the back of a mini bus was heaven. Wendy is Brilliant, I think she will deliver to Helensvile but if she doesn't she will know someone who does. We have phoned her for info on replacement windscreens and WOF and all her reccomendations have been top draw.
