Can I just take and print my own photos for the medical documents, or do I need the precise, professional Passport photos taken?

We each already have our passports, so I see no need to have the expensive passport photos taken (three copies for each of us!!), when I can just set up the digital camera in front of a white wall and take a pic of each of us, print it at one hour photo, and crop each to 2 inches.

Did anyone else do this?

Thanks!

hi,
i did the photos for my two children's passports with my digital camera and i also printed them off, and knowing how fussy the passport office is if it was ok for them then i would say it would be ok if you did them for the meds :)

Yep we did our own with the digital camera and just resized them to passport size and printed them off, - make sure it is about same size as passport photo to attach to the forms. :nice1

I had passport photos from a booth turned down as there was a shadow on it and they said (Wait for it)) My head was too big. I put them on my medical papers and they were accepted so I would say you should be ok

Kindest regards

Just to confirm the posts before, I assumed that the medical photographs were to prove that the results were for you (the person in the picture), otherwise you could send anyone in your place. The doc signed our photos to verify them, and so, although, we had passport photos done, you probably don't need to and as long as they are roughly the right size and likeness, you should be okay.

Good luck.
