Well it looks as if our plans are falling into place. :raebanana
For those of you out in 'forum land' looking into PR we would definately recommend having a firm job offer to speed up the application.
We also managed to sell our house and we are due to complete on the 26th of this month.
Luckily my job is on the Skilled Shortage List so we managed to achieve 200 points.
We partly completed our EOI over a few weeks and just filled in details as they became available - much less stressfull than trying to complete it all at once.
It took a while to get our heads round how much information was needed - and finding all that information takes time (things like contacting my University to get a transcript of my degree, getting all our documentation veryfied by a solicitor etc).
We had a little hiccup with Johns' medical - diabetic - but all that was required was the medical information checking over by the medical board at Immigration.!
But on the whole the process has gone without a hitch.
We are now the proud owners of 5 blue stickers!!
We are in the process of 'down sizing' - it is amazing how much STUFF you accumulate, Pickfords arrive 12th Feb house should be packed up by 14th.
Fly from Heathrow with Air New Zealand on the 17th - thanks to Austravel for sorting out a good deal.
Arrive Wellington on the 21st...
Managed to organise a furnished rental property close to the hospital for when we arrive - so even that worry is now sorted!!
Now begining to wonder when the bubble will burst because it has all gone so smoothly... Just the sad bits, like saying goodbye to do now :wah
See you soon in Wellington
