Hi, the names Jo and I'm 30 years young. Been a regular reader of this forum for months now and as I notice lots of you are very clued up on things, beware that I will have a million and one questions to bug you all with ! :D
I have been living in NZ, from London - for 3 1/2 years now. After Working Holidays, Permits, Visas, I am now "hopefully "on my way to becoming a fully fledged resident ! (still waiting on outcome!) I have applied under the Partnership Category so if anyone has any experience with waiting times from the ChCh branch it would be much appreciated !! I have been with my partner (Bruce) for well over 2 years now and have been told by someone at Immigration that as I have previously been accepted for a Permit under the same Category that I can't get turned down for Residency. Was wondering if anyone knows if this is correct information or not ? (Previous experience with Immigration is to take what one person tells you with a pinch of salt as you can guarantee the next person will tell ya something completely different !!) Not a winging pom honestly :laugh
Anyway, don't want to type an essay on my first post !
I look forward to anyone of you helping me, now or in the near future !!

Welcome to the forum...about the question from the branch in chch i dont know what to say but that in Auckland it took me only 4 months to get my PR under partnership.

Must admit, not been in Indigo much - It's always too busy to get a seat outside (nasty smoker!) I seem to descend on the places that have the best wedges..... (Lakeview by the way!) mmmm yum :laugh
