NZI held its fortnightly EOI selection today, so even though I know the website is usually updated only a few days after, I logged into NZIS website, just in case. OK, so as expected, they haven't announced their latest selection result. But what is this? The website says I don't have any submitted EOI! I submitted my EOI last December, and paid $300 for it, so why is it not listed? I last checked my EOI around end of December, to check the result of the last selection, and my EOI's still there, even though it's not selected. Do they purge unselected EOIs at year end? Anybody has any idea? Thanks!

As far as I know, EOIs stay in the pool for six months (a couple of years ago it used to be 3months, but it's definitely 6 months now.

If yours isn't appearing, I'd been keen to contact NZIS and find out where it is - there will be some sort of paper trail to explain what happened.

Goold luck.

Hi

Have you been in to your EOI and changed any details? If you have just check that you have re submitted it. IF not definetly check with them.

Good luck.

Does that mean if EOI is not selected, it will be in the pool of reselection in the next 6 months? How many times an applicant can submit his EOI in his lifetime, considering that, his experience/marriage/other facts will increase his points.

Yes, they stay in for 6 months I believe.

How many times an applicant can submit his EOI in his lifetime, considering that, his experience/marriage/other facts will increase his points.

It might help if you gave us a little more information on your situation and background, then advice can be given, tailored to you :).

I personally can't see why you would want to re-submit your EIO unless it was unforseen circumstances in the 1st submission such as bereavement. The points system that I've already pointed you to in my other thread gives a very good indicator if you'll be eligble through the skilled migration route, however I don't know what route you are looking for or what your skills etc are so it's a little harder to offer constructive advice.

I think you can re-submit as may times as you wish, as long as you are willing to pay for it every time!
