Have you tried www.travelbag.co.uk
I've been on their website this evening and they seem to have a number of available flights. Especially some very reasonable ones with Cathay Pacific going via Hong Kong ...... Under 1400.00 for 2 adults & 2 kids flying from Heathrow - one way tickets.
Hope you have some luck.

Hi Lynden,
I'll second Diny's vote for travelbag.co.uk. We ordered two Singapore Airline flights for 26th Jan last night with no problems - couldn't find any cheaper deals, even with a whole afternoon of searching various sites! Had a quick look and they do seem to have some for beginning of december, too.
Good luck :hopeso

We used Travelbag too on Monday for 4th Jan. Although - they haven't sent our confirmation 72 hours on (supposed to be 48 hours). Impossible to speak to anyone so I cut out the middleman & spoke to someone in Air NZ and they confirmed the flight booking (yes I'm torturing myself with another flight via LA - see LA Nightmare thread) - hopefully the fingerprint thingy is down to a fine art now :laugh. Am I crazy? Maybe but at those prices it had to be done!

Travelbag offer some amazing prices don't they?
Can you tell me - were there any hidden extras or is it really a case of price quoted price charged.

Hi Diny,
We got charged £5 each extra for a 'booking fee' or something like that, other than that it was the price quoted.

Hi Diny,
Nope the price on the web is what we've paid - got our flights for something like £536 each one way.
We've used Travelbag for 3 long-haul trips this year (I've been using them for 13 years now) so they're well tried & tested :P
