Well just arrived home from my works leaving do,can't believe how many people turned up to say goodbye?
It has made me feel very humble in some respects, to know that all those people took time out to bother to say see ya, or was it to make sure that i was realy going.
With us flying out on wednesday(24th) it has just finaly hit me very hard that i will not see most of these people again, the same ones who for 12years i took for granted and always exspected to be there forever.
Well enough of that, as they said as i left onwards and upwards so here's to those that we leave behind but who will never be forgotten, and to the new life and adventure that awaits us all.
Wow how many beers did i have

Hold on tight and enjoy the ride. There will be plenty of milestones happening from now on in, you are doing something you'll probably never do again, so make sure you have fun as you go.

All the best and I hop you have a safe journey. Enjoy your flight.

PS How many points did you have/did you have a job offer as I note your EOI was selected same date as ours but you seem to have got through the process very quickly.

We had 110 points and a government job offer, we did however get stuck when our case officer up and left NZ house, lucky for us we got talking to a lady from NZ house at the Manchester expo who took up our case. We were told that it could take upto 3 months for another case officer to be appointed. So to be honest we had a lucky break for once!!
