Hi there, just a quick introduction, myself and my husband Scott, we moved here on January 8th of 2007, and were loving it, trying hard at the moment to find a 6 month let in the Wellington area, but looking and learning the area all the time.

For my birthday I had a treat, a helicopter flight around Wellington harbour.
just though I'd share the link to the video here, when we searched youtube there was limited videos so we added ours there for all.

anyhow, house searching on trademe at the moment :-) loving it

Welcome to the forum and belated belated Happy Birthday!!

Helicopters are great aren't they? Had to use a helicopter for to build a radio installation up in Fort William some years ago. Absolutely fantastic.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for the video. You almost flew over my wifes folks house in Kilbirnie but veered off just as you got there lol. My wife loved seeing that and we look forward to moving there in Oct from bonnie Scotland where we are just now. I rated your video 5 and left a comment, thanks again for that.

Hi Ya Trigirl looking for rentals anywhere really but only want 6 months which is proving to be difficult, as people want you to rent for 12 months understandable but annoying. The helicopter ride was a lot of fun and we are thinking of maybe doing the harbour tour too... 1 day great pickie.... We lived in Germany for 2 1/2 years, working with the British Military. My Husband is from the North east England and i am from the south west...
