Does anyone know about early Childhood Education? Most jobs advertised under this heading ask for Dip Tch (ECE) as a qualfication but what does this stand for or equate to in the UK? As a primary school teacher I understand that once registered I can apply for any teaching job, but would I have any chane of being selected for interview without these NZ qualifiactions? As Early Childhood teaching is on the skills shortage list (whereas primary teaching is not), is it possible to obtain such a job with relevant experience i.e working in a Pre-school in Uk with 2 and a half to 5 yr olds, as well as several years as a primary teacher?
