Hello. My youngest daugher may be coming with us to NZ if she doens't get accepted to her top pic university here in US. She has taken the ACT, but doesn't have to take the SAT.

I know NZ requires international students to have already taken the SAT, but do most NZ universities require permanent residents to take the SAT (assuming we get PR)?

Thanks!

NZ students do not sit SAT tests to gain admission to universities.

To gain entry to NZ universities, local students need to have relevant NCEA passes in numeracy and literacy, but there is not specific 'entrance exam' for most courses.

Thank you. That helps! I wonder if there if it is difficult for children of skilled migrants with PR to be admitted to universities in NZ? The prices don't seem as high for tuition as they do in the States...or at least not upon first glance at three uni web sites.
