Dear friends,
We have to attend face-to-face interview on January 26th at NZIS London branch.
We were told that the evidence we are living together are not enough though we are married for 3 years and we have presented many photos to the CO.
Our CO wants to interview us separately in order to prove that we are ;iving in stable relationship.
Does anybody experienced such type of problem?
I wonder what type of questions they will ask us?
Thanks
Marin

I've spoken to a couple of people who've been through this, both of them in NZ. One was called to an interview, they were put in seperate rooms and asked questions like "does your partner prefer red wine or white?"
The other the immigration officials came round to their house to check they were both there and then asked questions like "where's his shoes? where's his toothbrus?". I'm not looking forward to this - half the time I don't know where my own shoes are :D

Sounds like Mr&Mrs, the TV game show! I suppose they want to know, but we just had to provide photos, bank statements etc. Good enough, but we have been married for 15 years.... maybe you just one of the unlucky ones.
Good luck!

They are not trying to trip you up or trick you, they will just ask you personal questions, like Anna says.
What side of the bed does your partner sleep on?
What colour is her toothbrush?
Does he eat white or brown bread, drink red or white wine.
That kind of thing, questions usually with 2 options. The stuff you'll know if you've been living with someone for a while anyway.
I'm sure as you are not in London they won't visit your house, :D but if they did, they'll be looking for evidence that you do live there, like your toothbrush being in the bathroom, photo's and your clothes in the wardrobe.
Good luck and let us know how you get on. :nice1

Maybe they randomly select someone to put through an interview of this type. Must be random or surely they'd hand-pick non-married couples more often than married. Seems like I've read about this type of thing before with married couples. Silly! But the questions sound like they are easy ones to answer, so don't worry!

Don't think they send you to a sound proof booth with fluffy blindfold and headphones though... :laugh

Good luck with your interview. Don't stress about it. We had one to get into Sweden and I didn't know the answers to all the questions (his favourite colour?) but they let us in. I am sure some of it is just gut instinct on whether you are for real or not.
