Recieved letter today from Immigration saying I have been Approved In Principle!!!! :clap :D :clap
All I need to do now is send Passport back to them so they can put my lovely sticker in ! (and yet another fee - crikey !!)
Does anyone know how long this takes ? Is it just a matter of sending in and possibly getting it back in a couple of weeks ??

If anyone has any ideas on times, would love to know

Isn't it just the best feeling, you'll sit and stare at the magic blue sticker for hours and sleep with it under your pillow for the first couple of nights. :D


Shouldn't take that long. Are you sending it to Welly or UK? Will they do it while you wait if you can take it to welly?

Nah my application was lodged at ChCh for some reason ? Think that maybe a bit too far to go .........shame.
Never mind, hopfully it wont take too long now. Was originally told it could take up to a year to be granted my PR but got it just one day short of 2 months, can you believe ?!!!

Rceently i had our family's passports re-stickers to remove section 18A. Letter warned me it will take 20 days, but i got it back within 4 four day from chch's branch...maybe sooner than you expect, hth!
I got chch's branch address & phone if you wish to ring to see if you can go in and get it done while you wait?
