After many weeks googling, i have finally come across a site that is useful.
Now that i am retired, the wife (Fay) and i are looking for a new adventure and have been looking at NZ for a long time. Having to find a source to convert my military quals to civilian equivelants and will the fill out my EOI.
Hope i can rely on the knowledge of all you good people on here.

When you say military qualifications, what you mean? No jokes please guys!
I mean, did you study weapons or electronics or similar things? Not sure about the NZ Quals Authority but it may be worth having a look at their website.
And you mentioned retirement, I think there are restrictions on retiring to NZ, sure somebody will be able to help you on that.
Good luck

Steve, no jokes really. I trained as a specialist trainer (Training the Trainer) - Office Management and IT at Cranfield University which gave me IT Practitioner Qual (Mil) - Electronics Signals - Range Management (teaching soldiers how to shoot) etc.
I already have NVQ Level 3 in Administration, D32/33 Assessor, IBT etc, a Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Management and am awaiting to see if my other quals grant me a Graduateship from the City & Guilds Institute, but i have not seen anything on the NZQ site.
As for retirement, that is from the Mil, not what i want to do in NZ, i am still too young (42) to let the grass grow beneath my feet ;-) although some say i look older with a head of pure silver coloured hair.
Thanks for your input.

LOL, welcome anyway jh, good luck. I was lucky, I did all my quals in civvy street even though I worked for the MOD for a while...so I had no problems.
Same age, so you well within the ballpark as far as emigration is concerned.
