Well... finally we are here! After backpacking around Thailand, Aus and NZ - we are at our final destination of Wellington! We are currently in Johnsonville, looking around for a property to buy, and of course jobs!

Very strange feeling emigrating. I guess it will take a while to settle in, but so far so good.

Well it's just a quick hello - i have 200 threads to read through now that you guys have been posting since my departure!

How are you liking Wellington anyway? Can't wait to hear all about what you've been upto and how you are finding things.

How is the rental / property market out there? Looking at it from 12,000 miles is really frustraiting I say as everything seems to be offers or POA on Realenz.

I know you'll be loving the food and beer. Wellington rocks for that.
