...this process of gathering documents is maddening!

I received (finally) letters regarding my work experience, but in spite of my specific directions to put exact start and end dates for my teaching experience, I got two letters (from two different people) that say I worked X number of years, and they vaguely add that the county academic year "begins in mid-August and ends the first week in June" each year

After all this waiting, I'm just tempted to mail all this off and hope for the best. Then I start wondering if I shouldn't just request another letter with the specific information I asked for.

I mean, come on, my file is there, why can't they just look at it and write down the dates!!?

I don't know how picky NZQA or Teachers Council is regarding this. I have written exact dates on my application, but both the personnel director of my school board and my former principal have left this information out of their letters.

Does anyone have experience with how picky NZQA and teachers council will be? I have some pay stubs but not copies of my contracts. For my current position, I have my contract and all my pay stubs (but no letter because I don't want to alert anyone at my present job). I just want to get this in the post ASAP!! :exit

Thanks...

Christine

we are just behind you, in that we are still waiting for all the documents to come back. ( copy of course content etc) and letters confirming experience. However OH has told her current head and will probably write the letter for him and just ask him to sign - it is so much easy and you can be sure of what is written. She gets on really well with her previous head so that shouldn't be a problem either.

Keep us informed what happens if you send off the letters as they are.
