We've done it, without an agent involved again and transferred our Long term business visa into the permanent residency on that follows it, the entrepeneurs visa. we sent the forms in early December and today received an email informing us we are approved in principle. Just as well really as we would have been kicked out the country on the 23rd feb as overstayers, and thats with two businesses and nearly a million $$$ invested in the country.

Next step...citizenship.

Congratulations Veronica:nice1 I have just received mine and the kids x-rays back after they went missing last week for submission to immigration for a new visa to be issued before my original visa runs out on the 14th Feb. Immigration are saying you'll be good as you are in the queue for a new visa so i won't be classed as an overstayer, but won't be able to work until the visa is issued. Got an appt' with the quack next wednesday, one week before the visa runs out. Talk about cutting it fine.
