Hi Everyone

Our ITA forms were lodged with NZIS on 22nd January. Based on your experiences, how long did you have to wait to be allocated a Case Officer (without job offer)?
It's just that NZIS have said it may not be allocated for four months and if the medicals expire in the meantime we will have to have them done again. Ooo err, we don't really want to pay out another £700. Has anyone had to do this?
Thanks

Julie and Steve

Hi
You shouldn't worry about your medicals. Once you've submitted your ITA the clock stops ticking on the 4 months medical deadline. I think it is just the case that your medicals can't be more than 4 mths old at the time of ITA submission. We can't be held responsible for the months long wait after submission!

Couldn't agree more.

Check on the NZIS website for the times that apply to your local office (presume thats London for you?) Their timings are usually quite reliable.
