For anyone who is interested..
Willowbank is open on Waitangi day from 10 - 3pm and it is FREE entry for everyone

I went today and my son saw the sign on the way out saying tomorrow is free - I have just contacted them and they have confirmed it.
Something to do tomorrow that wont cost!!!
