Hello everyone

We are the Belmont Babes and are very new to this so please be kind as I'm sure you will be if the previous postings are anything to go by. My Husband is a fully qualified Electrician with 20 years experience and we had our EOI selected 31 Jan 07. I would welcome any information and advice about the Tauranga area. We are hoping to do a reccy if their is enough money in the pot after finishing our house renovations. We have two children. Thanking you all so much. :roll

Thank you for your kind welcome. It looks like you are well on the way. Do you know % of people turned down at ITA stage? Are you excited and where are you looking to reside in NZ? What jobs do you do?

Welcome guys, wonder where you are from?? It is getting quite expensive there because it is one of the up and coming areas of NZ. There are sure to be many people on here who can give you the lowdown on it.

We are from Herefordshire which is a lovely area but unfortunately we feel that the UK has little fun left in it. Like everyone on this forum we feel that life is to be lived to the full. The climate in Tarangua is what appeals to us but we are not going to get too hung up on areas as it will all come down to where the jobs are. Thank you for your advice about the area. Will be looking to go out and do a reccy when we are offered ITA. Have you been out there Steve? Where are you in the process?
