I'm back from Woolworths and I have in my hand a small bottle of the stuff. Quite expensive but worth it! :D

It was when we cooked bubble and squeak the other day we noticed it sadly missing from the cupboard. :roll

What about proper Marmite? A friend claimed that there was stuff called My Mate that was indeed british marmite in disguise, but I haven't seen any!

Moore Wilsons also have a great range of overseas foods including HP sauce.
I've not seen My Mate but I've also heard its the same as UK Marmite.

Its called Our Mate and its in the exact same looking jar as UK marmite.... think I used to get it out of Foodtown or New World..
I now eat Vegemite, but just put twice as much on my toast.....

I hate Sanitarium Marmite - it has sugar in it! Bleurgh.
MyMate and OurMate (exactly the same packaging) are the same as UK Marmite. It's quite expensive - about $4 for a small jar.
I get it from New World or Woolworths.
I have Vegemite in the cupboard too, but sometimes only real marmite will do...
