Hi I'm 32 yrs old from Birmingham, fancing a big change...I've already dipped my feet into a few topics here but haven't introduced myself.

I am seriously thinking of going to New Zealand to live and work for a year (not an office job!) on the 18 - 35 yr old BUNAC visa. :nice1

I'm foot-loose and fancy free so going alone....are there any other singles out there my age range generally...to help, discuss, advice and help along...and maybe meet up with? :clap

I'm thinking of heading out come June/July 07 and would aim for the South Island.....hope I can meet some fellow wanders... :cheers

Take care
Nikki AKA Dapper

Hi there Dapper and http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/signs046.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org)

My OH is from just outside Birmingham (Halesowen) and I know that there are a couple of forum members from that way and there's plenty on the SI too.

As you've dipped into a couple of threads, you'll know what a great resource this forum is, but if you need any advice, just post the question and we'll happily try to answer it.

Good luck with everthing and I hope that it all goes to plan for you.

Hi there seem to be a fair few Brummies out there, so I see I wouldn't be alone - that is good news!! I need to look into things a little more, and I'm presently waiting for my property to sell. But if I can pick information and guidance from you all along the way - during my thought process that would be great!

Thanks for all the welcomes! :nice1

Hi there.

Pity you didn't ask this question a couple of months ago. We've just been back to the Uk for an 8 week holiday and actually spent the day shopping in B'ham (loved it by the way !!!). It wouldhave been good to meet up for lunch and swap info.

Hope all goes well, and welcome to the forum.
