WOHOOOO (is this too excited?)
After 3-4 years "talking" about moving to NZ, and many years dreaming of it, and a whole year thinking up many different plans and visa options etc (most of them discussed here)
I can proudly announce, my passport returned today with a 12month Work Visa in it !!! :raebanana :raebanana :raebanana
I have never smiled so much i can tell ya!
OK, so its not PR (as i never applied!) But it gets me in NZ and gets me in the running for a whole year of finding the right job, getting my NZ license (Electrician) and then taking it from there regards further visa/pr applications from within NZ. I aint gunna sleep tonight! lol
PS: As i got 12mths to play with in NZ, i think i am going to spend 6-8mths just being an old-age gap-year student before settling..
So i can confirm to anyone over 30 and too old for WHV but still under 35, go apply to "Bunac" as i only found out about them about 6weeks ago and doing so has turned my dream into i am really going!" :p
I am provisionally booked on a flight out on June 8th, so oh-my-god better start sorting myself out..

I'm going the other way. I'm hoping to get through winter here (-40°C), then summer as well (+40°C) and then move around the beginning of August for a bit of spring and then summer again. Just at a more reasonable temperature.
