hi,

going tpo submit ita by hand on monday, and have a few last minute questions

1. mentioning family, i took this to be me, my wife and our kids.

do we have to mention anyone else (we didnt on eoi) and of we do where does this information go

2. covering letter, what do we need to do with reespects to this, ie what to include etc.

3. when we inlcude all the information is it just a case of sperating each section ie employment evidence, qualification, job offer. i was just going to paper clip each section together (is this ok?)otherwise its just a big mess of papers.

4. Regarding evidence of relationship we have got marriage certificate, birrth certs of kids with us both named and a tenancy agreement and council tax letter from a few yrs ago and a few bank statements family credit etc so hoefully this will be enough?

5. regarding evidence of work experience im just claiming two yrs as its easiest. ive got a few lines from personell dept on headed paper with dates and role, plus a job description and also a pension breakdown of the dates i was there again think this may be enough but keen to hear from anyone if you think i need more.

hopefully thats it for questions, on visa process etc, we have a case officer and a job offer that wants me to start end of feb, have read a few posts where people have had it all sorted as quick as a few days! so once we get this its a case of booking flights and letting employer know im off (they have no idea!!!):D

Family is parents, siblings and off-spring - even those who are not coming to NZ with you. It is in case they want to come over at a later date and you want to sponsor them (I think). There is a place on the form for this info.

There have been a few replys on this subject (do a search) but basically use it to support your case by mentioning anything that you haven't mentioned on your form (ie. have you visited before, have a social support system etc etc). also it is useful to list exactly what you are supplying with your application.

Just put all your papers in order, as mentioned in your list - apparently they don't like paperclips or folders!

The relationship stuff sounds fine, the joint financials will clinch it.

For the work stuff you will definitely need something which confirms the hours you work (ie, that it is full-time) .. maybe payslips might show this if it hasn't been confirmed in your letter from personnel.

Good luck,

Dawn

Hi
I've pm'd you with the letter we submitted with our ITA - it may (or may not) help!
We did paper clip our stuff together in sections, originals with copies behind it. We submitted in person and they simply checked each section and handed the originals back, there were no complaints about paperclips and it did keep it a bit neater.

We originally missed extended family (siblings etc) off our EOI and simply included them on a separate piece of paper with our ITA submission with a note to that effect.

Hope this helps and good luck!

3. when we inlcude all the information is it just a case of sperating each section ie employment evidence, qualification, job offer. i was just going to paper clip each section together (is this ok?)otherwise its just a big mess of papers.

We just put everything in order that it appears on the form. I think that they were okay with that. We didn't bunch stuff together, but as long as it is in same order as the form, it should make the NZIS officer's job easy enough.

4. Regarding evidence of relationship we have got marriage certificate, birrth certs of kids with us both named and a tenancy agreement and council tax letter from a few yrs ago and a few bank statements family credit etc so hoefully this will be enough?

Yes, this information should be fine to prove your relationship.

5. regarding evidence of work experience im just claiming two yrs as its easiest. ive got a few lines from personell dept on headed paper with dates and role, plus a job description and also a pension breakdown of the dates i was there again think this may be enough but keen to hear from anyone if you think i need more.

If you can prove your role and responsibilities and the dates, then it should be fine and it reads like you can do that.

hopefully thats it for questions, on visa process etc, we have a case officer and a job offer that wants me to start end of feb, have read a few posts where people have had it all sorted as quick as a few days! so once we get this its a case of booking flights and letting employer know im off (they have no idea!!!):D

Good luck with everything and keep us informed with how it goes.
