Please note the updated forum rule about politics and religion, which now reads:

Politics and religion: No party politics is allowed on the forum. Discussions of political or religious themes are allowed if they are carried out thoughtfully, with respect for other posters' (possibly different) ideas, and are relevant to New Zealand immigration, life in New Zealand, or reasons for leaving your own country. Talk about your own ideas. Please don't bash politicians, political parties, religions or other members' ideas, and please don't form political/religious social groups.
