Default We have our stuff!!

Hi all,
quick update - our container docked on 30th Oct and we got our worldly goods on 5th Nov!
MAF inspected at our house and everything was pased by them!
We shipped with John Mason in the UK the The Moving Company in NZ.
Both companies were excellent and all our gear arrived in one piece!

Excellent news

Great recommendation for the removals companies.....
any chance you could give a ballpark figure for how much these companies cost, what size container etc?

So far I've only got one quote (still early days in the process for me, but trying to be organised!). Migrate Global have quoted £3738 for 20ft sole use container. What do you reckon?

We were charged £2995 for sole use of a 20ft container.
We also had quotes from Crown, Pickfords and Robinsons. Crown wanted £3950 but John Mason, Robinsons and Pickfords matched each others prices so dont be afraid to haggle!!
Good luck

That's what I wanted to hear.......I was really hoping you'd say something under £3K and you did - just!

It's useful to know what they're likely to come down so I'll start haggling

Every penny counts right?!

Thanks for the advice and have fun unpacking
