Did any of you see Nigel Latta's 'The Politically Incorrect Parenting Show'?

I don't have any kids, but still watched it and enjoyed it very much. He's a child psychologist, who specialises in dealing with kids that fall into the 'too hard basket'. He presents in a very amusing way and everything he says just makes sense, especially to those of us who did grow up in the 70s, when we were allowed out without being wrapped in cotton wool and found out for ourselves that falling out of trees really does hurt. He takes a sharp stick and pokes it at how the world has gone soft with their kids, over protecting them from danger etc. He visited a couple of Kiwi Kindys where they have actively abandoned all such protection and let the kids do really 'dangerous' things to demonstrate just how kids learn and develop skills to cope and deal with situations on their own. It showed them as being far more capable and confident at dealing with the problems in front of them, without being watch over, or told they must not do this or that. It was very interesting anyway!

A bit of him on Breakfast TV
