Yipee! That's our number.
Should we submit our EOI now, do we qualify in this batch? What happens if the points is raised to 115 in the next selection?

Great news and congratulations on being picked out of the pool!!!
Leaves some hope for the rest of us, we have 115 pts., but because of some snags we can only post our EOI in a couple of weeks and are worried that they'll put up the points again. But if it's at 110 at present, I guess there's a bit of leeway.

for what I understand, if you were in for the selection yesterday, then you'd be ok.
If you submit today, and the passmark goes up, you may have missed the boat.
I don't think the mark will go up in the next 2 weeks, but you never know. |

Hello there.
I've checked my status but it isn't selected.
My point is 105.....so the selection point today may be 110......
However, I hope that there isn't any announcement on the nzis today,
it could be go down less than 110! |

Hi Astraldanger,
I'm afraid that is it isn't selected I don't hink it will be this time, let's hope you have more luck in 2 weeks!! I think there is a lag in the selections being made and the official announcement but the fact that they've been making selections implies that the mark has been fixed at 110.
Cheers,
Mark. |

| Is this selection going to be the last selection for people submitted their EOI on jan/feb 2004? |

The NZIS website still does not say anything about the EOI selection points for 18th August.
I guess we need to wait a bit more..... .....stress, stress. |

We got selected today at 115. We got caught with our pants down a fortnight ago as we were not expecting the points to go so low, so I zapped in the EOI PDQ on 5th August. Who would have thought it, after months and months for points to fall that it would be that easy in the end.
Guess what I'll mostly be doing tomorrow - Wading through NZQA Assessment forms. |

hi,
yeah - seems easy in the end, the months of nail biting quickly get forgotten, but some other problem will no doubt appear to have you worried about your application, they say the most stressfull thing to do is buy/sell a house, well this obstacle course is probably just as tense. however - worry doesn't actually get you anywhere does it, so just try to go with the flow!! difficult i know but who needs grey hairs. (i've got enough already!)
xanctus - there is one more selection point in two weeks so good luck to all on 100+ (in theory, but still no announcement on the nzis website ???)
cheers

Hi All,
Does anyone know for sure what the selection point is for August 18th selection? The NZIS website is not updated and there are confusing numbers out there. |
