I can see it now - Moorf and Michelle's Sea Cucumber Farm
Hmm, I wonder if it is possible to breed them - then we can "find" an amazing property of sea cucumber spaghetti (i.e weight loss and or viagra properties) and make a million!

hehehe - don't encourage me - I've taken whackier ideas further!!
For example - I created and ran Ancestors Reunited www.ancestorsreunited.com (yep, that was me on the Today prog on BBC Radio 4!! Check out the "News" page!) - I've sold it now but THAT idea came to me whilst drunk one night and I ran with it so watch out for a "Rori-U-Like" on a street corner near YOU! |

I think it was on www.nzbizbuysell.co.nz
but that was a little while back now. However someone on fishing forum mentioned it might still be on the market only yesterday. |

LMAO re Bullworker - so you read my fishing post then!
Incidently - should I be concerned about strength?!
Oh, and I think I shall need to study the sex life of sea cucumbers as it appears it is "elusive" (bit like married life eh!! hahahaha)!
Sad thing is, I am beginning to think there IS a market for these critters!!
WANTED: Seafront property with access to rocky outcrop for cucumber breeders...... |

Dont really think being strong is an issue, as there are plenty of gadgets around to help. Also, there are plenty of lady anglers, and they usually show the guys up in my experience.
I still dont think you would get me to eat a cucumber, nomatter how you dressed it up. But you could be right about a market for them, especially with the Asian contingent. I believe that aquaculture of all forms is positively encouraged by the nz govt.
They are always dishing out fresh licences for mussell farms etc. Much to the dismay of the fishermen and women. |
