It could just turn out to be one of those niche markets that everyone else has overlooked so far. Go for it.
On a similar note, when we visited in March, it was obvious to me that laminated flooring is something of a mystery in NZ. They LOVE there wooden floors, but simply have not got into laminate yet. I discussed this with several people out there, including a furniture manufacturer, and no body had come accross it. Only places that had it were commercial premises. I am looking deeper into this one. Maybe I will make a million as well.

I am in danger of boring everyone with the cucumber thread but just had to post this last site..... my manual for setting up the farm!!

http://www.polaris.net/sui/jpinson/pml/gal/pepino/pepino.html

It's a far, far bigger industry that I had imagined and, being a marketing consultant, I can see alot of mileage in it!!

Do we need to make a claim on rocky out crops could run into problems with the current Maori claim on the seabed and foreshore ?

We could end up with a chain of these shops the latest fast food "cucumbers u like" "cucumber hut" NZFC thats NEw Zealand fried cucumber.

Each shop could be distinguished by unique laminate flooring !

Oh I am never going to get any work done this afternoon, think we should go onto PM's dont want anyone nicking our idea do we

Michelle

PS have just found out our buyers have instructed solicitors and I have a job offer, we are on our way YEAHHHHHHH

Thanks very much its a good feeling,

I will be working in an opthalmic clinic at Auckland hospital and best of all no shift work, they sounded lovely on the phone so feel really positive about it all. Need a break from flying, sick of hotels and being away but want to stay in travel so have a few ideas up my sleeve. Main thing is that we can get in now (hopefully) submitted EOI yesterday not sure when we will go into the first draw.

Richard hasn't got a job yet he has to do exams to convert to NZ law first but hopeful once we get there he will find something.

Hoping the house sale will complete end of august and would like to spend a couple of weeks somewhere on the way out possibly India although like the sound of Rarotonga, could combine it with a bit of research !

Whats a Jafa, sounds impressive, any benefits ????

Hey Moorf think we have found our first outlet of "cucumber queen", as its been run by 2 women went for the queen bit.

Gutted about the flooring, that was going to draw them in and then I was going to send them to Tim to supply and fit..... "as seen in cucumber queen" etc

Have had too much wine tonight, giddy at thought of getting back to NZ soon.
