Does anyone know if ADSL or Cable exists in NZ and if so how widespread is it? and the monthly cost would be good too!

Tom.

Hi tommy,

True broadband is quite expensive here - as you'll have discovered from Arlevien's link above. 'Baby' broadband connected at 3 or 4 times dial-up speeds is not too expensive.

I'm quite keen on going wireless with WOOSH, but it's not available in Chch yet - just Auckland and Invercargill.

Woosh do 250Kbps at NZ$65 per month for unlimited traffic. It should be here within the next year or so. fingers crossed
