Allide Pickfords??

Hi Guys,
Does anyone know about,or used this lot? Just had them round and they seemed dearer than the rest!!,plus i havn't read much of them.
Any help great as pss in monday!!

I am trying to decide between Whites and Crown, both come highly rated on this site and both seemed very organised and helpful. Might be worth asking one or both for a quote to compare.

I called Allied Pickfords for a quote, their system was down and they said they would call me back. That was Monday - I'm still waiting

Maybe I won't bother if they can't even call me back to make an appointment, not a good first impression.

Britannia Fleet came Thursday, so haven't received quote yet. Anybody used them? Crowne coming on Tuesday. I'm not sending very much, mainly personal items, biggest thing is a wooden chest. Will wait and see what the quotes are.

Hi All

We used Allied Pickfords (Allied Van Lines in the U.S.) and so far so good. They were a bit pricey however I've had to use moving companies many, many times (both domestic and overseas) and...again so far...they have proven to be as good or better than the best I've seen. They were very careful packing everything and handled all of the paperwork for us at both ends. Yes

I say "so far" as we haven't moved into our new home yet. That will happen in about a month. But our belongings have arrived (we had to have them pull a box which had some of our documents and they took care of it the same day). And they handled all of the NZ Customs and MAF inspections without our even being present...all clear! Nice One

So I'll report back as soon as we're unpacked... fingers crossed

that everything is in one piece!
