Hi all,
A wet, sticky Monday morning in London, what better incentive for thinking about leaving?? Ok, ok, I know, it rains in NZ sometimes too...
And now for today's first question (there will be more...)
For those based outside NZ, AFTER you've sent back all the paperwork in the application for residency and your application has been approved, how much time do they allow you to come out to NZ?
Do you have to go out more or less straightaway, or are you given a timeframe to get your act together??
We're pretty much ready to go & with fingers constantly crossed we will aim to be out there early 2005.

Good morning Daniel,
Raining here in Shrewsbury....
Once you've got your PR status, I think you've got a year to over to NZ, or else it becomes invalid and you will have to apply again.
Therefore, early 2005 should be fine; in fact the problem might be NOT getting approval in time! |

Hi
I think a year is correct with out a job offer but if you have a job offer I think you have too get out there within 4 months of being granted pr.

Thanks Graham, thanks Sadie, that's useful. Maybe we have more time to pack those boxes than we thought!
I'd put some of those emoticons on my posts but can't work out how to make them work, so you can imagine some here:
And now for my next post...
