Things are likely to slow down following todays selection point of 130
The following is from a conversation that our agent has just had with our London case officer, we were draw from the pool 23 june 2004
"We have a backlog of about a month from when cases are selected and allocated to processing. So we have literally just started on yours - which is why none of your referees have yet been contacted. You should see some action from now on"
In London they are absolutely gobsmacked that Wellington have put the latest selection level at 130.
Quite obviously this is going to create a major backlog situation, which is one of the things the new system was supposed to cure!
you have been warned!! |

| Hmmmm, they've really got themselves into a mess, haven't they? They get grief for not selecting enough migrants, and when they do start to pick up the numbers, they don't have the staff to cope <sigh> |
