Are batteries standard throughout the world or will we be unable to buy batteries for toys etc the same as we can here in the UK?
If they are the same are they expensive in comparison to UK prices?

Hi
Does anyone now about light bulbs? Is the UK Bayonet type readily available or is the Edison screw type commonly used?
Thanks

Just bought a few Philips low-energy light bulbs (18W equivalent to 100W incandescent bulbs) at The Warehouse. Priced at $4.99 each.
As Karl says, batteries are identical here, but they're quite a bit dearer here than in the UK. |
