Hmmm
It might sound like a daft question, but do the bigger names in music ever come to NZ? If so is there a decent online booking site such as ticketmaster that we have back here in blighty?

I only ask so that I can see if there will be anyone worth seeing in the future.......many thanks in advance

Its a bloody long way for a band to go considering the likely turnout for gigs. Population is very small compared to here.

It might be a long way but some groups do go there. They may only play in 1 place like Auckland - eg Robbie Williams with Duran Duran played there in December, UB40 are out there soon.
Kelis ('Milkshake' song and 'Trick me') is in Auckland in July

Smile Hi,

Back in 98 when i was in Auckland, in my raving days, the Ministry of sound played a massive gig there, loads of top name DJ's, if you like that sort of thing. Yes

Also i'm in touch with an Aussie who lives in Byron Bay, he reckons you can get flights to Sydney or Brisbane for as little as 30 to 40 pound stirling these days(got no pound sign, American keyboard), so that's another option.
