Hi All,

I feel a bit silly asking this as I'm sure I'm missing something obvious. Filling out the EOI on line, what is the Name of issuing authority for the birth certificate? I was going to put "Poole" which is where I was registered but that doesn't seem right, the help for the form isn't much help either.

Cheers,

Mark. Confused

I wondered about this one too, in the end I went for the county names plus country. Like register of births, Warkwickshire, England.

Think this should be ok

Thanks. I've just submitted anyway, left as the towns as listed on certificates. Here's hoping that the 115 points indicated is correct!!! fingers crossed

Hi All,

You just fill in the pertinant registry office location where you were born. e.g for me Birningham and for my wife who was born in a small village south of Bristol, Bristol Registery Office issued her Birth Certificate. Just name the town or office shown on your cert's

Nice One

If you hold your birth certificate up to the light, you should see the letters G.R.O. that is short for general records office, and that is the name of the issuing authority
