Blinking heck... the dollar slides against the pound

the dollar is down to 2.78 against the pound as a commercial rate.

Don't know if i can keep watching daily Eek

Isn't it a good thing for you that the Dollar falls against the pound.

A weaker dollar will mean that when you make the move, your pounds will buy more. Assuming you have some capital you're bringing with you, you'll get more dollars for them, allowing you to buy more, get a nicer house etc.

The original post is correct in that its bad news for anyone off to NZ at the moment. The Pound has slid against the NZD. Sad person that I am, I have been watching it regularly:

I see what you mean.

The orginal post was wrong, the dollar hasn't slipped or is down against the pounds, it's climbed and is up against the pound.

Not the best of news.
