Hi All,

As per the information I could gather from NZIS, my application under GSC is likely to be processed by end of Aug'04.

My elder daughter, 16 years old, is in Class 12 - preparing for her Medical studies in India.

Can anyone help me by guiding me the options available to her in NZ? In case she has to take some entrance exams for the admission in next session, please advise about the syllabus.

Reference to some web links about test format, sample test papers would be just great.

Best regards

I can't help with test papers, but the 'Bursary' will stop this year for ever. Y13 classes will take now take NCEA Level 3 exams before going to university.

Thanks a Ton John,

Would that mean, she continues to study in year 13 in the High school itself and then take NCEA Level 3 exams and no separae entrance exam is needed for admission to BHSc?

Sorry to sound dumb but this is one of the most critical factors that is going to influence our decision.

Sanjiv, as far as I know, there are no entrance exams to NZ Universities - entry is determined by results from Y13 exams at school.

Until last year, that meant results from the Bursary exam. Fom this year onwards entrance will be determined by results in the NCEA Level 3 Exams.
