Hi, I'd like to retire to NZ. My husband and I have UK pensions can afford to buy our own house in NZ. We just want to go there and live, and can support ourselves. Does NZ have any scheme for people to retire there who are UK citizens?

Sorry Aussie Chick, but the short answer is NO. Read the topic immediately below your one, "Retiring", or see www.immigration.govt.nz
You may visit for 6 months at a time, but at the moment, I'm afraid that's it.
